The Meridian Living faculty, staff, and owners are local residents of Meridian, meaning they are responsive and have a personal connection with the residents, and the surrounding community.

Meet Our Staff

Candace Page

Director of Operations

Candace has been a Meridian resident for 15 years. She graduated from Meridian Community College, has been active in the senior care and hospitality industry for 18 years. Candace is married with two children, and houseful of animals that are too big to be inside! She is a current member of the Women's Alliance of Meridian.

Keren Thrash, RN, BSN

Wellness Director

Keren graduated from Meridian Community College in 2006 with LPN, then in 2011 from Excelsior College in Albany, NY for her RN. She then decided to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mississippi University for Women in 2015. Keren was the Lead RN at a local physician office for 13 years. She has two children and a fur baby. Keren helped open Meridian Living as the wellness director and head Nurse.

Genny Cherota

Activities Director

Genny graduated of University of Alabama Mobile. She has worked in Home Health sales for 25 years. Genny says "My purpose in being here is to help your loved ones stay active both physically and mentally." Genny has been married for 24 years, and has two children and 14 grandchildren. Her favorite place to be is on the beach!

Stacy Smith, LPN

Stacy graduated from Choctaw County High School in Butler, Al. He attended Wallace Community College in Selma, Al where he earned his LPN license. Stacy has been nursing for over 23 years! He is married with three children, and loves outdoor cooking and activities!

Evonne Wilson

Lead RA

Evonne is a lifelong resident of Meridian, and has over 23 years in the healthcare industry. She graduated from Meridian High. Evonne has one child and is waiting for grandkids!
